Eight walkers from Biggar Ramblers enjoyed a sunny but windy ramble out to the North Esk Reservoir from Carlops village then up onto Paties Hill for some superb scenery before making our way down to Amazon Dene for a pretty lunch break next to the stone bridge.  We then walked to Kitleyknowe and back into Carlops village.  5.5 miles in length, with clear views of the surrounding hills and some great company, it was approximately three hours enjoying some of our fantastic local countryside.
