Biggar Ramblers grade their walks A to D. Similarly, Ramblers have a national grading scheme of 6 grades - Easy Access, Easy, Leisurely, Moderate, Strenuous, and Technical. The purpose of giving a walk a grade is to help walkers understand how easy or difficult a walk will be. However these should only be taken as a rough guide. If there is any doubt about the suitability of a programmed walk, please contact the walk leader who will be happy to advise.
